It's not often a view in Bristol shows the river in both directions, but here you can see right the way from Redcliffe on the left to the Tobacco Factory on the right. And follow the river round to the right even further and you'll come to the Suspension Bridge. My younger sister leaving the country for a couple of months on Monday brought on a wander around Bristol with the family today. I thought I'd share with you a couple of snaps, giving you a flavour of parts of Bristol I haven't yet covered in my Blog, for those of you who don't know the city. The distinctive globe in Millenium Square (central Bristol) lends itself to photography, and has seen endless group photos in it's reflection. We too couldn't resist - tourists in our own city!Believe it or not, that is a bus stop (below). A bus stop without a road. The house to the left of the image is coincidentally called Worlds End House. Priceless. You never know what you'll discover exploring the back streets of Bristol. |
